Currently La Puerta Abierta is supporting four outstanding students from Santiago.   Ricardo is studying to be a Physical Education teacher in Solola.   Maria is in her second year of Jr. High.     Isabel is studying at the Teachers' Academy in Santiago Atitlan.   Gerson is studying accounting in Panajachel.
